I was introduced to her upon becoming principal of the CFHS in 1979 and I quickly learned who was really in charge of the school. She was one of the most professional people I have ever met and ran the office like a well oiled machine. Simone made my job easier and I am a lucky person to have known her and worked with her.

Your mom was the kindest, most considerate lady I've ever known. When I attempted to replace her at CF High in 1986 she left very large shoes to fill, for such a small lady. She left me notes everywhere, and even came in at night to help me learn her accounting systems. She was generous with her time and talent and is warmly remembered by everyone who knew her in the School District. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
